The Remarkable Addiction of Twitter

Prior to the Mumbai crisis I'd given marginal attention to Twitter, having considered it a purely social network. An entertaining node of reading and writing rather base observations of everyday life. These last few days have brought Twitter beyond the base, into an addictive cycle of information sharing that rivals the comparatively plodding essence of blogging. This is not to suggest that blogging for me has resigned itself to a boring anachronism, quite the contrary as the blogging platform allows for unlimited speculation compared to Twitter's restrictive measures. Rather that the limitations of Twitter allow for short bursts excellence in terms of both information sharing and analysis alacrity if you choose your sources wisely.

So does this mean your going to Twitter away? Is it anything like blogging or just a running conversation?

Hey Jeff. It's a bit like both at the same time.
