Via Wolf Pangloss, this nightmare scenario in which British blogger, faces arrest for his violation of Britains Orwellian "Hate Speech" law. From the "thought criminal's" blog, Lionheart, this:
"I am currently out of the Country and on my return home to England I am going to be arrested by British detectives on suspicion of Stirring up Racial Hatred by displaying written material" contrary to sections 18(1) and 27(3) of the Public Order Act 1986. This charge if found guilty carries a lengthy prison sentence, more than what most paedophiles and rapists receive, and all for writing words of truth about the barbarity that is living in the midst of our children, which threatens the very future of our Country."
I spent a good amount of time reading this fellows blog today though not nearly long enough to be called a complete or thorough examination.
Here's my analysis: This guy doesn't like Islam and envisions it as a dire threat to both his country and the ideological foundation of western society. His posts are well written and well thought out and have tendency to conflate his Christian ideals with an anti-Islamic visage. I don't agree with his take and I think he's attributing the nihilistic foundation for the likes of say, Al Qaeda or Islamic Jihad to an entire religion. Not a criminal offense by any stretch of the imagination...Unless your in Great Britain... And happen to be insulting Islam. Remember this?
Where, exactly, was Public Order Act 1986 then? Vacationing in Switzerland, perhaps?
The stifling of commentary in order to "contain the masses we've chosen to fear rather than assimilate" is what this shameful and completely outrageous mindset entails. A byproduct of inestimable self loathing, not at all the courageous enlightenment it seeks to portray. The British Thought Police appear to be setting this fellow up as a villain in their "Tolerance" facade which is so much bullshit I can't find a backhoe big enough to shovel it. Pathetic.
If you blog and you happen upon this post and you're even slightly uncomfortable with being sent to jail for letting your thoughts escape your head and find their way to your keyboard then lay a post down condemning this idiocy.

The comments below the post are good. Almost all of them worth reading.
Sickening news.
Dan, agreed and thanks for picking up on it at tdaxp. Just the prospect of jailing someone for their ideas is enough to raise a resistance.
Hey ws, Brian's fair to be cautious (and runs a great looking blog) but as I said above, even if the police back off on this (as it gains more attention) the intent remains. Thanks to you as well for picking up on it!
From his blog he definitely seems pretty crazy, but he has a right to say it. Maybe he'll convert to Islam in prison - LOL.
