Cash through merit, something the NFL could learn from!

That aside, anything sports should be relegated to the league controlling commissions and local law enforcement, not congressional attention.

Dan the cynic! It's HOPE, Dan. Yes we can!

Dan there's an article in the latest Foreign Affairs written by Fareed Zakaria I was (will) going to track down online and post about. It captures the essence of the political cowardice and general "school girl" clique (last bit my words; former, his) of American politics and how it will have to change, very soon, if America is to maintain it's global vanguard.Jay@Soobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12208597218366281778noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37179942.post-46497443390518582022008-05-21T22:33:00.000-04:002008-05-21T22:33:00.000-04:00One advantage of these sorts of investigations is ...One advantage of these sorts of investigations is that it takes up time that could be used on actually making things worse. A consequence of a subpar political class [1].

Eddie,

The only real NCAA sport is football. Hence, no need for concern.

[1] http://www.tdaxp.com/archive/2008/05/21/bushs-third-term.htmlDan tdaxphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07205344738190870766noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37179942.post-42166386693063599152008-05-18T21:38:00.000-04:002008-05-18T21:38:00.000-04:00He could at least investigate the NCAA & NBA mess ...He could at least investigate the NCAA & NBA mess with college basketball players getting even bigger payoffs than before to play 1 year at a particular school (per the NBA's age limit rule) and sign with a particular agent. The NBA has not been this good since the 80's and I'd hate to see it ruined by stupidly greedy university boosters and agents. I swear I'm switching fanhood to Aussie rules football and cricket if they screw this up....

But no, we'll get this empty drama perhaps instigated by the two PA teams owners who lost to the Pats in absolutely unforgettable circumstances.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
